Farm Bureau summer conference addresses inflation

FAIRMONT HOT SPRINGS - Inflation, supply chain issues, input costs and commodity markets drove the focus of the Montana Farm Bureau Summer Conference June 13-15 at Fairmont Hot Springs. The event provided a time for the 180 farmers and ranchers to surface policy ideas in their advisory committee meetings while hearing from experts in the field.

The flooding along the Yellowstone River between Myers and Hathaway created some dramatic issues for some of the residents of Rosebud and Treasure Counties. Cattle were moved to higher ground, levees were shored up with sandbags, residents had to pump basements, recreation areas were closed, and the Sheriff’s Office helped ranchers move cattle that were surrounded by flood waters.

Area students make honor rolls at Montana State

BOZEMAN — Montana State University has announced its undergraduate honor rolls for spring semester 2022, which included several students from Rosebud and Treasure counties.

Junior High Bible Camp set for July 5- July 7

A Junior High Bible Camp will be held at PR Country Comforts. Tweens, of all faiths, entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade are invited to attend. Adults and tweens alike will enjoy three days filled with great meals, snacks, a movie, singing, crafts, lessons, recreation, a hay ride, enjoying nature and building new friendships.
