Lifelong resident now covering news for Independent Press

Pamela Ash

Pamela Ash was recently hired as a reporter/editor by the Independent Press and will cover news in Rosebud County, according to an announcement by IP Publisher Andy Prutsok.

Ash is a life long resident of Rosebud County and wrote news articles for the local paper and the Hysham Echo for several years before pursuing a 20 year career as a family support specialist until her retirement in 2019.

Writing is a lifelong dream, and she wants to incorporate local news and feature articles about agriculture, businesses, individuals, and organizations.

“We’re excited to have Pam join us,” said Prutsok. She brings a wealth of knowledge of the local community, it’s people and history to this vital position and we look forward to better serving the community with local news and information.”

Ash would like to hear suggestions for feature articles as well as news tips. Call her at (406) 351-2694, e-mail at pamkashp@aol.com, or send messages on Facebook messenger.
